Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!

This is the 2nd WIP in the Alabaster Decisions Drawing. I have done some darkening with watercolor pencils. I thought I was done with the water colour but decided upon looking that I wanted to lend a softer, warmer look before the pencil detailing on the skin. This is something I NORMALLY don't do. A double undercoat can sometimes make the paint look splotchy in places, and it has happened here. But NO WORRIES! It is easily smoothed once again with a damp brush only and no paint. I used Prisma Color Pencils to go over the HAIR, EYES, and FINGERS (especially the shadows of the fingers at her lip) to increase the depth and strenghthen the perception. I spent about 3 hours total on this update. After I post this, I will use the damp brush on the underpainted skin and start the drawing process. HOURS of WORK. The next update will be the first overall pencil installation. I'm hoping to get that to you guys by the late weekend. However this week is FULL of birhdays in my family and I may be a little short on time. I'll hope for the best.

Sorry the image is so fuzzy looking again. Had to take a photo of it and its just not "cutting the cake" so to speak. When the next installment is done I will take it to Kinko's to have it scanned on their massive scanners.
